How to Verify AKTU Marksheets & Transcripts

Applying for study abroad (WES evaluation), government exams (UPPSC, SSC), or corporate background checks? Here is how to formally verify your AKTU academic records.

1. Provisional Web Marksheet vs. Official University Transcript

Understanding the legal distinction between a web copy and an official university transcript is critical:

Provisional Web Marksheet

A printed copy from oneview.aktu.ac.in or akturesult.bond. Suitable for immediate personal reference, provisional college progression, and informal interview screening. Not legally binding without college seal.

Official Sealed Transcript

Printed on specialized security watermarked paper, embossed with the university hologram, and signed by the Controller of Examinations. Required for immigration, foreign university admissions, and government recruitment.

2. Digital Verification via DigiLocker & NAD

Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University is fully integrated with the Government of India's National Academic Depository (NAD) and DigiLocker:

Download the official DigiLocker App or visit digilocker.gov.in.
Sign in using your Aadhaar-linked credentials.
Under Education, search for Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU).
Select Degree / Marksheet, input your Roll Number and Admission Year.
Your digitally signed electronic transcript will be issued with a cryptographic QR code that employers and government bodies can verify instantly.

3. Official Transcript Application for WES / Study Abroad

For students applying to Canadian or US institutions requiring World Education Services (WES) credential evaluation:

Electronic WES Transmission:

AKTU has established a direct electronic transcript transmission agreement with WES. Students can apply through the AKTU Student Service Portal, enter their 7-digit WES Reference Number, pay the university transcript fee, and the university registrar will dispatch digitally signed records directly to WES via secure electronic data transfer.
